Photo report from the @DottedMusic April trip to Finland

(download)

Here goes a Hipstamatic report from my and my wife's visit to Turku and Helsinki, Finland. Speaking at the Musik & Talang seminar, filming interviews with Live Nation Finland, ThingLink, Fanu, and witnessing the country's capital being massively wasted while celebrating May 1st - all in all, this was an exciting trip.

PS: Was pleased by that situation... A group of teens next to an entrance to a big mall discussing us in Russian once we walked by them: "Look, people here dress differently after all."

Lol.

After this weekend's trip I became a @Hipstamatic addict

(download)

That was a truly rich weekend, with a trip to the gorgeous Malbork Castle and Volf's Lair (Adolf Hitler spent there around three years during the WW II).

Katya was filming for the News, and I discovered and found myself totally lost in the Hipstamatic app. It is awesome, and so different. Just try it if you haven't yet (and have an iPhone).

Few photos are here (originally I took around 200, and I've never been that big fan of taking lots of shots!)

Kaliningrad's Weather

(download)

Oh that unpredictable local weather... There was a crazy snowfall few minutes ago, and now I can see the cloud irrigating another part of the city.

While I was playing with the TiltShift app (3 minutes) the cloud moved somewhere else (the photo with the snow cloud on the right).

That's one of the reasons I decided to work from home today ;)

PS: 40 mins more and it doesn't look so pretty outside AT ALL.

PLAYMA photoshoot backstage: less words, more images with Webdoc

Playing with Webdoc today, which recieved quite some buzz on MIDEM this past weekend (a dedicated blog post is coming up today on Dotted Music).

Not fully convinced with how everything is organized there, but it is cool and very useful service without a doubt!

Check out a video my wife Katya did from a PLAYMA photo session in December 2011 (the photographer is Vika Konovalova).
